Winner of the Tony Award for Best Play, SIDE MAN is a darkly comic new drama which tells the story of a time before The Beatles and Elvis, when jazzmen were as heroic as premier league players and there was no shortage of Saturday night gigs. SIDE MAN is a tribute to the men whose lives were dedicated to their music and to the families that suffered in the wake of that passion.

This autobiographical play by WARREN LEIGHT is directed by MICHAEL MAYER and features EDIE FALCO, Emmy Award Winning star of The Sopranos, JASON PRIESTLEY, star of Beverly Hills 90210, and FRANK WOOD who won a Tony Award for his performance in New York.

SIDE MAN includes jazz classics by Miles Davis, Lee Morgan, Clifford Brown, Donald Byrd, Roy Eldridge, Ella Fitzgerald and Duke Ellington.
