CAST BIOGRAPHY

 

Jeff BinderJEFF BINDER (Al) joins the London company of Side Man after having understudied the roles of "Clifford" and "Al" in the Broadway production at the John Golden Theatre. Jeff also recently performed in Zibaldone, a commedia dell'arte piece which played at both HERE and The Present Company Theatorium in New York city. Other credits include "Porter Hardeen" in the short film "The King of the Magicians"; a featured vocalist in the cabaret "Fresh Faces of Broadway" at the Town Hall; various roles at the Colorado Shakespeare Festival including "Mercutio" in Romeo and Juliet and "Master Jacques" in The Miser; "Charlie" in Quilt: A Musical Celebration at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington DC; and "Radovan" in the U.S. premiere of Radovan III  directed by Zeljko Djukic. In 1998, Jeff received his Master¹s Degree in Acting from New York University where he had the opportunity to perform such diverse roles as "Cassio" in Othello (directed by Barry Edelstein), the Stage Manager in "Our Town" (directed by Ron Van Lieu), and "André" in The Three Sisters (also directed by Mr. Van Lieu).
