CREATIVE TEAM BIOGRAPHY

 

NEIL PATEL (Set Design) designed the British premiere of David Rabe's A Question of Mercy at the Bush Theatre two seasons ago.  New York credits include Side Man  on Broadway at the Golden Theatre, Lobster Alice at Playwrights Horizons, Dinner with Friends at the Variety Arts Theatre, Hurrah at Last and Arms and the Man at the Roundabout Theatre, Bob and Quills at New York Theatre Workshop, The Grey Zone at MCC Theatre, Henry V at the New York Shakespeare Festival and Macbeth, Richard II and Richard III at Theatre for a New Audience. Regional work in the United States includes the Long Wharf Theatre, Steppenwolf Theatre, McCarter Theatre, La Jolla Playhouse and the Guthrie Theatre among many others. His work with director Anne Bogart has been seen at the Hebbel Theatre in Berlin, the Amsterdam festival, the Exit Festival in Paris and includes the premiere this coming fall of War of the Worlds at the Edinburgh Festival and the Next Wave Festival at BAM. In 1996 Mr. Patel received the OBIE award for sustained excellence in set Design. He was educated at Yale College and the University of California.
